Good thing Shana got here first. I was only going to give 0.5 author points.
I think you only get author points if you hit an author with a moving vehicle. Otherwise you just get author karma, which can only be redeemed in the afterlife, and then only on alternate Thursdays. Author frequent flyer miles will be rewarded to those who make the best paper airplane out of a rejection slip.
